Exploring Tile Options

Ceramic Tile: Made from clay materials fired at high temperatures, ceramic tiles are durable, water-resistant, and available in a wide range of colors, patterns, and finishes.

Porcelain Tile: Similar to ceramic tile but denser and less porous, porcelain tiles are highly durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. They come in various styles, including glazed and unglazed options.

Natural Stone Tile: Options like marble, granite, travertine, and slate offer a luxurious and elegant look. Each type of natural stone has its unique characteristics, colors, and veining patterns.

Tile Installation Process

Preparation: The subfloor must be clean, flat, and dry before installation to ensure proper adhesion and prevent cracking.

Setting: Tiles are adhered to the subfloor using thin-set mortar or adhesive. Spacers are used to maintain consistent grout lines.

Grouting: After the tiles are set, grout is applied to fill the spaces between them. Grout comes in various colors to complement or contrast with the tiles.

Sealing (for natural stone): Natural stone tiles should be sealed after installation to protect them from stains and moisture penetration.
